Dr. Jenny Terrell joined the Texas Eye and Laser Center team of eye professionals in 2006, after working at a practice outside Tarrant County. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from McMurry University in Abilene, Texas. Her doctoral degree was awarded by the University of Houston College of Optometry, after rotations in private practice and the Naval Medical Clinic at Marine Corps Base Quantico. She completed a residency in family practice eye care, working specifically with brain injury patients at the renowned Texas Institute for Rehabilitation and Research (TIRR) and the community-based Good Neighbor Clinic.
Dr. Terrell routinely manages glaucoma and other eye diseases, pre- and post-op care of LASIK and cataract patients, as well as careful examination of diabetic and hypertensive eyes. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Tarrant County Optometric Society, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Texas Optometric Association, . She also participates in the Healthy Athletes Opening Eyes campaign for the Special Olympics.
Dr. Terrell, a native Texan, enjoys reading, photography, and live music.
