I am a 22 year old female and I was extremely nearsighted around -7 with slight astigmatism in one eye. I was extremely sensitive to light and driving at night was a nightmare. I chose the SMILE surgery. Texas eye and laser was fantastic and Dr. Renelle and his team took such great care of me. My insurance denied me one of the necessary medications and Texas eye and Laser quickly took care of it so I could get access to the medication I needed. The evaluation was extremely thorough, all my questions were answered, and they gave me plenty of time to decide. The whole staff was sweet, super professional, and they took the time to make me smile and laugh. My vision is around 20/30 at 1 day post op with no dry eye symptoms. Im expecting to reach 20/20 by my 1 week. Just a heads up for any planners, they schedule appointments the day before so tell your ride to clear their schedule for the whole morning.
